Take some time away from the usual routine and put it into your diving. Our Taupō camp brings together focused practice, useful feedback and the chance to explore with people who enjoy being in the water.
This is about becoming more comfortable and capable, not seeing who can get deepest. Set a goal that matters to you, work on the details and leave with a clearer idea of what to practise next.
Five days, with time to rest
The camp runs over five days, including one rest day in the middle. That leaves four days for coaching, training and exploration, with the daily schedule shaped around the group and the conditions.
What the camp focuses on
Relaxation and preparation, equalisation, efficient movement and confidence on the line. Build on your buddy skills, review what is working and develop the habits that support your advanced diving.
Sessions will be planned around the group, the conditions and each diver’s experience. Coaching, exploration and time to recover all have a place. You do not need to chase a personal best to get something worthwhile out of the camp.
Training or a qualification
Come to develop your existing skills, or talk to us about adding PADI Advanced Freediver training when a suitable course is scheduled. Qualification options have their own entry requirements, learning, confined water and open water assessments. Camp attendance alone does not award a qualification.
New to freediving? Get in touch first so we can discuss the right starting course and whether a particular camp intake will suit you.
Where to stay
Accommodation is not included in the camp price. There is access to campgrounds, with cabins also available for hire. Arrange your accommodation separately, subject to availability. We will share the campground and cabin options and booking details when the dates are confirmed.
Meet us in Taupō
Make your own way to Taupō and meet the Exhale team there. Travel to and from the camp is not included. The meeting point and arrival time will be provided before camp.
Dates and price
To be confirmed. Register your interest in Taupō and tell us about your current experience and goals. We will confirm the programme, suitability, available places, venue and full price before taking any payment.
Meal arrangements, equipment hire, any venue charges and optional qualification fees will be clearly identified in the confirmed offer. An enquiry is not a booking.
